Friday September 19th was my 20th birthday!!! YAY i am no longer a teenager!!!!!! well anyways i had the bestest birthday yet!!! Nothing very special about it except that i have an amazing husband, family, and friends who all make life wonderful! I went to work and baked some funfetti cupcakes and some pumpkin bread to bring to my friends at work. One of my other friends Raylene, who i work with, also made some delicious birthday treats for all of us and we had a feast in the break room and it was delightful! I was able to get off work a little bit early to go home and hang out with my hubby! He gave me the sweetest card. We had a relaxed night at home, and nordstroms, it was the best. Wendy's for dinner, picked up a CUTE bracelet from my sissy ;) at nords,(the same ones i got my bridesmaids! now we are all matching! 'J' for JASON!) then found an amazing clearance JUicy SUit!... RED that could not be passed up :) we then came back home and watched Casino Royale. very good. My birthday continued on saturday evening as my sweetheart took me up to the Apple Store in Salt lake, to get my phone fixed, and waited every so patiently as the crazy crowded apple store people had to replace my phone.. but to top everything off, we ate at cheesecake factory Mmmmm..!!! I love being married, and i love my hubby, but i miss my family back home! My parents and little brother are coming out for conference, only 11 more days till they get here!!!!

One Month

So I really should be studying but i HAD to update our blog because yesterday was our ONE MONTH of being married anniversary! WOW i can't believe it has already been one month, so quick, pretty soon it will be a year.. haha.. So for our one month anniversary, and our FHE activity, we decided to go to my friends house who has a ton of overstock of designer jeans in her garage that she sells for $50!!!! THATS it! i know, so we had a little too much fun... and little did i know that my hubby loooves shopping ALMOST as much as i do! He was able to find THREE pairs of TRUE RELIGIONS, that he could not live without! what a cute spoiled boy! At least I am converting him to the dark side of designer clothing! Soon enough he'll be an orthodontist (okay give him hmm 7 or 8 years!) and Lucky for me he bought me an early birthday present and i got the cutest pair of true religions, and my FIRST pair of skinny jeans.. (im still a bit nervous, im going to try to pull them off!) they are cute rock and republics! so absolutely no more shopping for the newlyweds for a looong time! Oh yes and any suggestions on making a budget!? hahaha we need to figure this one out quick before we run out of savings!!! Let me know we need to try anything we can...

Families are Forever

So school has already started and studying is taking over our lives! Jason is taking chemistry, physics, calculus, and new testament. I am taking American heritage, new testament part 1, new testament part 2, statistics, and humanities. WoW we are crazy, along with working part/full time! Somewhere in all of that we have managed to get our condo in order looking very cute, and thanks to mama pickett and dad... here is a picture of our bed and yes Jason let me put pink in there :)

and i Love our cute sign "Always kiss me goodnight!" Here is another room, out dining room hmm and lets see, a book of mormon on the table, a water, cards, a candle, and Jason's backpack on the chair... pretty clean ;) wish it was that clean now, (we have books and notebooks and thank you cards EVERYWHERE!!) I tried to set a goal for us to write 10 wedding thank you notes a day.. it does pretty well the first few days of the week.. we are getting there though..bear with us!

and lastly, These signs are so cute and I had Jason pose under them but he was laughing too hard :) Families are Forever and I am so thankful for that! The Temple is such an amazing place and I have been so blessed in my life for having the opportunity to be able to enter into the temple, and enter with my sweetheart. It is so comforting knowing that even after we die we are sealed together for time and eternity so we are able to be married in our next life too. Our children will also be with us forever and ever, being able to be born into the convenant. I am so thankful for this amazing church and the family/marriage beliefs it stands for, and nothing can compromise it, not even the changing ways of the world!

Puerto Vallarta

Jason and I left for our honeymoon the very next morning. Jason booked our trip in early July and was able to keep it a secrect up until about a week and a half before!!!! I was so excited to find out we were going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Thanks to Ashley and Ron for giving us a week of their timeshare :) and to both our parents for our airfare! we were able to have such a relaxing time laying by the pool drinking virgin strawberry daquiris and walking along the beach. We also went into town a few times and went to the flea market and bought little things.. we even started to get the hang of bartering! we still arent very good at it! ha! After all the mexican food we ate we wanted some american food.. so we decided to go to Hard Rock Cafe.. and we were so surprised to find that an American Restaurant had the highest prices ever... higher than even in America! it wasn't even as good as the american ones.. our other favorite restaurant we went to was Senor Frogs.. There was a big bug at our table haha but they caught it, and then they put a big sign by us that said ".." somehow everyone seemed to know we were honeymooners... maybe it was or maybe just because we were young and lovey dovey..who knows but everyone seemed to know!! It was soooooo much fun! when we got home we both got a little bit sick... we didn't even drink the water.. but we think it may have been from the ice cubes or fruit washed in the water... DANGIT!!!! oh well its over now and it was the bestest honeymoon ever. thanks honey for planning it all!!!!!
