wii fun!
Break has been an absolute blast! i just figured out our awesome new toy!! a 'FLIP' video camera.. super mini, holds 60 minutes of video time, and has a USB plug that flips out of it to plug straight into the computer! so with the new Wii Fit, and my new video camera.. i figured out how to make this super cool video! check it out its hilarious!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!! We are glad to be home, safely, even without a car we are so happy to be home. As we started our drive home last saturday evening, our car broke down 2 hours into the drive, in Wells, Nevada! we got towed, stayed the night in a motel 6 (YUCK) and DAD came to rescue us! He left Benicia at 1:30 AM and arrived to pick us up at 9:00 sunday morning. we then piled everything in his truck and drove back home, we got home around 8 PM. our car is still there, and we have learned that the engine was blown out, but lucky for us it is under warranty still!! Thanks DADDY PICKETT for saving us! We are happy to be safely home! TODAY HAS ALREADY BEEN THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!! We love our wonderful friends and family and will post more pictures later! we miss you britt, rich, ryann, cara, jenn, rhyan, carrigan and addison!!

BREAK!
YAY for christmas break! Jason and I are officially all done with finals... Jason did exceptionally well and i did.. well i wish better but i don't want to let it ruin my break.. tomorrow we will start our long drive home.. i just finished wrapping all the christmas presents and can't wait to be home and have nothing to do!! for 2 whole weeks!!! yipppppy!! but i am very jealous because my mom, dad, brittani and baby ryann all were able to go to L.A. for my cousin ELLEN's wedding tomorrow! CONGRATS ELLEN..we wish we could be there.. work is great isn't it?! better posts to come when we reach NAPA!!!! MERRRY 6 days till CHRISTMAS!

MY FAVORITE TODAY!
Today has already been such a wonderful day (especially considering it is finals week).. and here is my favorite parts about it:
1. we just found out some great news: My favorite nephew ETHAN will be home for christmas this year! YAYYyyy
2. My sweet HUSBAND.. today is our 4 month anniversary!!! I love you pumpkin!
3. This morning.. bright and early we were able to attend the temple! I LOVE TO SEE the temple and the special spirit it brings to my life.
4. I took one of my finals and did way awesome and can keep my B in the CLASS!!!
That's enough good to keep my whole week looking GREAT! only 2 finals LEFT.. back to studying!

new calling!
I AM so proud of myself because i have never held a church calling and now it's my turn!!!! i am the visiting teaching supervisior of one of the districts in my relief society.. i am going to do my ABSOLUTE best i can and make sure i magnify my calling! I knew my chance would come and I'm so excited! So make sure you do your visitng teaching this month ;)
Christmas Cookies!
FORGET THE DIET! HA! too much hassle... besides i got into the christmas mood again and decided to make christmas cookies for my visiting teachers, home teachers, and some friends!!! So a good friend of mine came over, and we went on a cookie cutter search to Macey's. all they had were $.49 cookie cutters, of wreaths, candles, bells, and that holly berry leaf thing.. so we got cookin' and frosting and it was sooo fun!!!!! we made probably 100 sugar cookies!!!!! PLENTY to give away.. and still PLENTY to eat!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME!! DOn't worry even though the cookies don't look to hott.. they tasted delicious.. im sure the cooking will get better over time :)

Workout plan
so we all know how amazing the holidays are...especially the food.. well i am ALReady feeling it.. so instead of making it a New Years Resolution (which it probably still will be) i am not going to let it get that far... so i am devising my own workout goals, and if i post them, i will feel more obligated to follow them! so these are my goals for next 2 weeks and then i will slack off when i go home.. 1. Gym at LEAST 5 times a week. 2. no carbs after 8 PM 3. drink a supplement shake for breakfast 4. NO soda or sweets 5. No fast food or eating out! 6. i get one cheat meal a week.
So maybe i can get ontop of my game BEFORE the Holiday LBS hit!

UGLY christmas sweaters
(shh.... i secretly really like my christmas sweater.. and will probably wear it again......)
Tonight was my work party..themed.. UGLY christmas sweaters! It was so much fun going and buying funny sweaters from Savers and since Jason did not want to go with me...he let me pick out one for him to wear :) they didn't really have ANY good men sweaters... so i had to get him a women's XL sweater.. with kitty cats on it. and my cute husband wore it! we also had a fun white elephant gift exchange.. too funny for words. We had such a good time. (despite getting lost on our way..) can't wait 10.5 days till we are HOME!

Christmas Spirit
Conference center was decorated so christmasy... i LOVE it!
Finally it is really starting to feel like christmas, since there is no snow.. or rain..yet!!! We were able to get tickets for the 1st Presidency Christmas Devotional tonight up at the conference center in Salt Lake, and it was such a fun time! We heard some great talks and saw the beautiful temple with all the pretty lights! I already have told my mom we are acting out the Christmas story, and Zach will be baby Jesus...Can't wait to go home... in 12 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving Trip

Jason and I have been quite busy lately... i was able to go home for a few days to do some hair, and extensions! It was fun but very quick. saturday night till tuesday morning. Tuesday evening we left for thanksgiving break out to visit Jennifer, Rhyan, Carrigan and new baby Addison (jason's sister) in Kansas City, Missouri!
It was such a fun, relaxing trip. We went out to dinner at Cracker Barrell for Thanksgiving dinner (it was delicious turkey dinner) and over the next few days we were able to visit some church historic sites. Adam-Ondi-Ahman, Liberty Jail, and Independence, MO (visitor center there) It was such a neat experience. We had so much fun visiting with family and meeting all The Donahoe's (rhyan's family) it was my first time meeting his family, and him! Addison Paige Donahoe had her baby blessing. It was so sweet. (the whole gang!)
We had a great visit in MO! Thanks mom and dad for such a fun trip and thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for! I am especially thankful for my sweetheart Jason, and our supportive families!
