messy house

4 finals and one paper left. then this crazy life will be over temporarily. i hope i get into the nursing program for fall then it will have made this all worth it :). i miss my husband he is gone for the weekend visiting his sis and cute nieces in kansas city! i am so jealous. and i am lonely. I get very sad thinking about my little brother leaving on his mission but i am so excited for him. I sure hope the sharks beat the avs in two more games. I love my hubs so much and am realizing just how much he does for me. The house became a disaster since he left and its only been one day. i sure make a mess and am cleaning it up tonight. thanks hubs i love you even thought you probably won't read this. xoxo (ps we bought a car and dad pickett is driving it to utah tomorrow and i bought a new cd to listen to in it (justin bieber!)!!!)

MIA...

sorry i've been MIA for a long time. school is getting CRAZY esp. with finals coming up. but we bought a car today.. we have had one car since the big accident in september and have been carefully looking and finally found one we could pay for (and have no payments) and is decent to get us through our school years. an '04 honda civic. 4 door- don't worry gotta fit some car seats in someday hehe! well i mainly wanted to blog about my sister. I can't stop thinking of her and the amazing sister,mother,daughter,wife and best friend she is. Sometimes not so fun things happen to really amazing people. I don't think i could handle her trials but she is so strong and can take on anything. I have always looked up to her and know that in times of trials her Heavenly Father and her family will always be right by her side. i wish i could drive my new car to her house right now and hug her and spend time with her and cry with her, it makes me sad that people can be so mean but this will pass and we will all have learned something from it! You have a beautiful family and a sweet husband and a wonderful life. i love you sissy.

a wedding to remember..

today was such a beautiful sunny chilly day in Utah. Family flew in for all over and it was a day to remember. It started at 1 at the Mt. Timpanogas Temple when walked in the beautiful Mallory and Mark. the sealing was so sweet... about 1:30 they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wagner- later that evening was the reception! It was A BLAST! the reception place was adorable and then there was a dancing room, and a candy table and CREPES! yes crepes!!! it was so much fun and i am so excited for this new beginning for my cousins mark and mallory! We love hanging out with them and now that they are finally married hopefully we can hang out all the time! we will let them call us when they are ready to start hanging out again ;) congrats mr and mrs. wagner. look at these too cute wedding favors!

why I can't wait for summer..

So in order to solidify this log as jason and devyn's.. i am trying hard to get jason to do a blog post.. but in the mean time. life is crazy took a two hour anatomy lab mid term today.. at least the semester is over half-way over!! now just 3 more tests till i will be back in napa for a few days doing lots of hair! thurs 18, friday 19th and saturday the 20th i will be taking appointments! lemme know when you want and what you want! oh but most importantly i can't wait for summer... i keep dreaming of all the things i will be able to do with my time, like get a second job (hehe)
i want to go to disneyland!

maybe get a cute puppy... ? or at least go home so i can play with emma and lulu

i want to make this cute skirt- and some other clothes!

i would love to learn to use fondant to make a pretty cake!

Mom's birthdays

I am so thankful for my wonderful mothers. I have been raised by such a wonderful woman and have now married into having an amazing mother-in-law. they both have the same birthdays. Its a very special day! we always wish we could be home to celebrate with them, and hopefully someday we will be. It seems like forever, but maybe in a few years we will be closer to home! Happy birthday to our Moms!!!!!!!!!
