Tomorrow

Tomorrow is my handsome husbands birthday!!!!!!! Hes going to be 26!? Ah.. He's getting so old!! Just kidding- well and when I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he said for you and hazel to be with me...so we are on a plane as I type to be home for his special day.. I guess since that's all he wanted I can return all those presents I got him. ;)

The little basement salon

For those who don't already know I am making one of the rooms in my basement a little salon! I am so excited and things are coming along. The most expensive part is the plumbing for my shampoo bowl.. Which is going in on Friday!!! But for 4 years it should pay for itself and some :) the first thing Jason did was we put in new flooring! From cement (with vinyl stickers) to wood laminate there is a halfway done pic-
*Next I found a salon chair and shampoo chair: they were a funny green color so I found vinyl spray paint and sprayed them gray.
*Then I (jason to be exact) hung curtains with wire from the ceiling to hide our storage shelves
*i also bought a mirror to hang from the ceiling with linked chains and I sprayed to chains a Tiffany blue (pics to come)
Its coming together so well I will Be posting more updates as they come!!

Arizona

We are still here visiting and it has been so much fun! We decided hm I think Thursday to come on Friday-and we aren't too sure how long we will be here! But thursday is Jason's birthday so we have to be home for that!! We got in Friday night and we had a rough flight! For those who know miss hazey know that she is a very happy baby and has never cried for more than a minute or two- she gets upset for a minute and then is usually done being upset- well I think since we both started getting colds on Friday i think her ears were really bothering her- it had to have been because she screamed like vaccines screamed but not for a minute for like 30 min. My poor baby and I felt so so bad for her and the people on the plane!!! :( it wasn't really pleasant for anyone. The second we landed she was completely back to normal it was so crazy- so Saturday we played and Sunday we went to church and had dinner at the bakers! Today hazel and I just played until rich and the girl got home about 3ish and I made dinner and ryann cara and hazel all took a bath it was adorable! It is so fun to see cara and ryann with hazel.. Most of the time they want to play with her and hold her and talk to her- especially in the car they love to hold her hand. They are definitely ready for their own little sibling but he/she may get trampled on! Oh and hazel and I both have colds but we are starting to feel better- thanks to hazels new friend nosefrida! For those who don't know it's a snot sucker controlled by me- and a tube I suck out her snot but it doesn't even get close to my mouth and hazel just giggles when I suck her snot out so it's great- gets out way more boogies than wiping her dripping ones.

8 months

Hazel keeps us very entertained!! This past month she has moved states again- Nebraska residents now, it's so weird to think she will be 4.5 yo when we leave Nebraska-
-she cut her first tooth last week (8.15)
-wears size 3 diapers
-wears 6-9 mo clothes
-will only eat finger foods refuses pureed food
- will only feed her self!
-crawls all over the place
-stands up anywhere and everywhere
-can climb up stairs
-puts anything she finds in her mouth (yesterday she ate a leaf- I didn't get it out in time)
-went to the gym daycare for the first time yesterday and did great!
-she no longer cries when I leave the room
-plays peek a boo
-waves
-still exclusively breast fed and still loves it!!
-has been waking up at night lately 1-2 times (maybe teeth,maybe new place still??)
-drinks from sippy cup and straw cup
-watched her first little Einsteins and jake and the never land pirates and sits for about 15 min
-looooves baths and gets so excited every time we walk in the bathroom
-goes to bed about 8 and is up for the day about 7:30 (with her 1-2 wake ups lately ugh)
-takes a few short naps a day or a couple longer ones
-smiley and giggly
It is so much fun to watch her grow!! Her little personality and playfulness are the best!! Happy 8 months miss hazel pop!!

Peek-a-boo

Hazel is learning peek a boo and will pull a blanket off my head or her head whenever I ask where's hazel or where's mommy.. And she is standing up wherever she can!! Yesterday it was so cute she stood up and was under the table cloth so I started saying where'd hazel go and she figured out to sit down and there she was! We had a fun game of peek a boo with the table cloth ;)

4 years

Time flies when you're having fun! 8.15.08 I married my best friend!! We still have so much fun together!! Wednesday we were able to go out to dinner and then we can home and nick and Emily offered to watch hazel for us while we attended the temple.... Together!! That is the first time since hazel was born that we have been together and it was so nice!! It was hazels first time with non family babysitters (if I don't count aspen grove... Because I was always in and out checking on her..haha) and she did good I think, my anxiety levels spike in situations like this. Well after the temple we stopped at sonics for milkshakes and headed home. I asked Jason on our car ride if he would marry me again today and he said yes.. I then said "even knowing all you know about crazy me?" And he replied, sure, why not. Lol. I'm glad he would "sure why not" marry me again! Haha It was a low-key anniversary but the best yet! I couldnt have asked for a more perfect husband and father. Thanks for marrying me and thanks for giving me hazel! Here's to eternity!!

Its really happening

Our four year anniversary is tomorrow an for four years at Byu all I could think about is dental school will never be here. Sure enough today is the big day! It's really happening!!! Although today and tomorrow are 'orientations' they have to be there 8-5 in dress shirt and tie so I'm counting today as the first day! I've already been texting him to see how his day is going he said he has already meet a bunch of classmates and he was not the first one to arrive(he was like 30 min early) I know he had first day jitters but he is going to do awesome! I am so proud of him and all his hard work!!
