Captain Pickett

 

Captain Pickett DDS and 2nd lt Wagner at church. I miss Jason so so much and I know this is only the beginning of military life. He has been gone almost 3 weeks but only has 2 weeks left as of today!!! We sure miss him but we try to FaceTime him every night! There are usually lots of tears but we can do this 

Hazel wanted me to send this picture to daddy to show him how beautiful she looked! 

 

She also wrote him a letter and it said "I love you dad. Come back someday" (written by my mom, but hazel told her what to write) 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Mitchell is 2!!

Today is my baby boys is TWO years old. It is so crazy how fast time goes. He is so much fun even when he is a little whiner! He loves to say NO and still loves his binky and blankey. We are working on binky just in the bed. He has absolutely no interest in potty training but hates getting his diaper changed. He loves to cuddle and he really clings to his grandpa and uncles. I think he misses his daddy!! He loves going to nursery at church and the gym daycare. He is saying a bunch of words but does not talk nearly like hazel did. Some words he says: yes,no, mom,dad,popsis,papa,  car truck, please, thank you, amen, ball, clean up, doggy, go, out, jump, juice, 

He loooves to dance and sing, he enjoys swimming and jumping on the trampoline. He loves blackberries and pretty much all food. He loves to throw fits especially in target. When I don't let him stay in the toy isle forever or let him eat every piece of food I put in the cart. I don't remember hazel throwing these many fits. Oh and when he throws a fit he throws everything down including himself and hits his head on the ground. 

He wears 2T clothes and size 5 diapers and size 6-7 shoes. I think he weighs about 27-28 lbs

We are so glad Mitchell is apart of our family!!! Love you little stinker

Summertime

Let me start off by telling you that I got a new phone, and dumped all my old pictures onto my laptop, so I have a chunk of time I am skipping over.. Until I get to blog from my computer. But for now, an update: we moved into my parents for the summer, I took a 3 month travel nursing position, Jason is at officer training, and we move to Vegas in August!

Goldie

Sometimes, okay actually very rarely, I get to be my best friends labor and delivery nurse! I got my schedule all fixed up to go in for her induction on a Wednesday morning.... Well her water broke Tuesday night so we switched things up a bit 😂😂😂 

I got her to take some laps and bounce on the ball for a bit- but then we were all in for the epidural! It was such an amazing experience- such a sweet spirit in the room as Chelsea and spencer welcomed their baby girl Goldie!!! I can't find a picture of Goldie and I but I will! 

Also, did I mention that Chelsea and I have known each other since Jason and I were first married.. They lived across the parking lot in 5th avenue condos. Then we moved to Chicago with them for summer sales.. Went our separate ways for a couple years and ended up back on Omaha together the past three years.

Chels has been such a blessing in my life- she watched my kiddos all three years while I worked- this is a key she had to my house and the day she gave it back I cried. Like a baby. Knowing she wouldn't have a key to my house and be over every day. 

She got me this Alex and ani friendship bracelet for Christmas. And we send each other pictures of them when we miss each other. 

Oh and last weekend, they were driving home from a family reunion and they got to stop AND STAY WITH US IN NAPA!!!!!!!! I can't believe I didn't get a picture of anyone but for realsies. I even got to do her lashes!

Heathers bachelorette

My bestie from high school is getting hitched August 6! So obvi her bachelorette party was in Disneyland!!!! It was seriously so so much fun!!!! Thanks Jason and my babysitters for making this a possibility for me! I left Saturday and got home late Tuesday night! 

Spring break in Texas!

Hazel has still been asking to go to aunt Suzanne's house and to play with her cousins Eli and Owen and aunt Suzanne's American girl dolls. And then she will ask if she can get an American boy doll haha! Is that even a thing?! She also tells me she wants a house as big as aunt Suzanne's! 

Thank you to aunt Suzanne and uncle Russ for letting us stay with you especially on such short notice!! 

We went to breakfast and the mall with some besties- the tenneys!!! They just left village green in November, so sad!! 

We went to a delicious Tex mex with  all the cousins, and the next day the Dallas children's museum! Which was awesome thanks Kimi and Craig for all the time you entertained us!! And Hazel loved holding hands with this sweet boy!!

Oh and Craig and Jason got to hit up a Dallas Mavericks game- lucky boys!! Such a fun trip!!!!!!

Erin comes to Omaha

in early March Erin came to Omaha to visit!! I can't believe I don't have any pictures of us!! But I did document Hazel getting her first manicure with auntie Erin!!! 

Oh and we enjoyed playing superheroes at the children's museum!

We played and spent quality time with Erin!!! Oh and we even went to my work one night to sneak a peak of baby Wolf!!! Or "Aladdin" as hazel is calling him! 

Eeeeeeek in other news... I can't believe my sissy is going to have a baby boy!!!!!!! Parenthood is one of the best things in life! She is going to be the BEST!
